3rd SCGA WOMEN’S MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP:
El Niguel Country Club, Laguna Niguel
4 rounds, match play
Monday thru Wednesday, August 3 - 5, 2020
FORMAT:
16 players will participate in the single elimination match play championship.
Monday, August 3rd: Round of 16
Tuesday, August 4th: Quarterfinals
Wednesday, August 5th: Semifinals & Finals
After the 16-player field is established: all players will be seeded based upon a combination of two ranking systems (1) The SCGA Women’s Points List and (2) The World Amateur Golf Rankings.
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is an invitation only event for female amateur golfers who are current SCGA members.
ENRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 8, 2020
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, July 19, 2020
PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted on scga.org/wmpchamp after entries close.
ENTRY FEE: $120
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming there is still space available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and will only be accepted over the phone.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $10 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
EXEMPTIONS:
